Yes he defeated Hitler almost on his own while the west was refusing to open the second front. And only when he was on the way to Berlin the invation of Normandy begun to avoid hole Europa was liberated by Uncle Joe.
Although Moskou Leningrad and Stalingrad were in sight Hitler failed and was complete defeaded.
Thus? Still seen as the great Hero in the USSR.
Making peace with England and America in Jalta and the United Nations was born.
We could use such a leader to fight the corruption of the rich elite.
