I have a few that should be on that list…
Jarvis Cocker, Conor Oberst, Patrick Wolfe, Nick Cave, Tom Smith (editors), Marylin Manson, Richard Ashcroft (verve), Peter Doherty, too name a few 🙂
oberst is more loud than big, same with doherty. there’s also a difference between a deep voice and a powerful one, as in the case of lamontagne vs. cocker. and marylin manson? big voice?
the rest of your names are pretty good ones though.

I think you need to clarify (too yourself) the term big voice. It doesn’t mean good octave range or classically trained, it means BIG. LOUD, POWERFUL, ETC.
The person that SHOULD be top on your list is Steven Tyler, He’s like 90lbs and has a bigger voice than all these men.
i think we should move on to BIG men, with LITTLE Voices. Ill start.
