   Hey,
   I am searching for the pieces to a puzzle that I’m birthing. Today’s lead was “No Wonders”and when I typed it in to the google I arrived here. The third art piece above struck me as something I had written before and so I thought I’d send it.

   THE TROGS

   Time has brought forth, the offspring of our schism
   Reason divorced from Spirit, breeds alone in this world
   Overcome with selfish indulgence, he slew his softer half
   Goodness is now greed, and beauty is now power
   Lost is the conscience on the road to prosperity
   Oh! that you could see where your unfaithfulness carries!
   Devolving your posterity in to creatures of darkness
   Youth raised on vices where virtues once nurtured
   Ties that once comforted now severed and broken
   Enslaved to the urges of the flesh and the mind
   Stand the offspring of Reason that the Spirit knows not

   Golems of darkness impervious to the light
   Overcome by the machinations of reason so cold
   Ravaging earth’s plenty, mindless locusts thus feed
   Gone is restraint, in spite of its need
   In desperation some cry, “Where is my Spirit!
   No more of this Reason for Reason is not enough!”
   Grace then arrives to the soul that has quickened
